Nash update

Nash is going on 5 months old now, so I thought it might be a good idea to update on his most recent activities. His last visit to the doctor said that he is 25 inches long and 13 lbs. Still our long skinny baby!

He has started holding a cup with handles. We don't use bottles often enough right now to practice with those, but he likes to drink from this sippy cup sometimes while he eats.





Giving the stink eye to the dogs. He has learned to love them both and is fascinated by watching them wrestle in the yard.





He is getting stronger all the time, and he loves to stand in his exersaucer to play. He tries to sit up on his own but isn't quite there yet. He does roll and can prop sit for several seconds independently. (oops, just slipped back into PT mode)





He was killing me there for a while with a change (for the worse) in his night time sleeping habits, but that has pretty much straightened back out. Thank goodness. He prefers to nap with mom or dad, and mom doesn't complain too much about this because she has been known for loving a nap too!




He loves to eat food! His favorite is still banana, but he also has rice cereal, avocado, apple sauce and sweet potatoes. We will be trying butternut squash next week, I think.




Aww! He is just too cute. Shad thinks we need to add his picture in the dictionary next to cute, but he also thinks we need to add it to ornery too. haha. He can be a real stink sometimes, but we love him so much!

Look at this funny face! Nash is wearing a lot of 6 month old clothes now so long as they are for skinny babies. Carters does a good job with making clothes that don't fall off his waist. He is also getting more hair which his mom has a fun time playing with (this is what happens when you don't get a girl first, hehe).

We can't wait to see what changes the next 5 months will bring!
