October

There are more, but I couldn't get the computer to upload them. Here are just some of the fun times from October.

Visiting where I used to work- Nash loved the swing.

This is a laugh not a cry.

Halloween- no trick-or-treating this year- just themed pj's.

Shad is his new favorite :(

This is where he discusses his big plans with the puppies.

water baby

Nash and I went to the lake near our house the other day. He had a blast! It was slightly flooded so the water is higher than usual but it made for a great crawling surface for this water baby.

He just crawled from one weed to another trying to eat it.

Stillhouse Lake- only 10 minutes from our house. There is fishing, boating, picnic areas, a beach area and playground, volleyball, hiking and more! Come play with us!

This is what Nash does when Shad is watching him.

In Kansas, Julie and Jamie bought Nash some new clothes and a new toy which he loves.

How does this thing work?

Nash is 7 months old tomorrow! He is getting to be such a big boy, and spent his first time ever today with a babysitter that wasn't family. It was only a little sad, mostly for me.

Here comes trouble!

Nash has gone mobile. I found him in his room the other day, after stepping out for a minute, playing in his dirty clothes basket. He loves to tip over baskets of any kind.

He has taken to lounging as well. Here he is in the bath tub, but he sits like this in his stroller too, with his feet propped up. Then when we are walking, he sticks his hands out of the stroller to try to pull the weeds. I will have to get a picture of that.

And he is up on all fours. The coordinated effort between arms and legs is still a bit off, so he isn't too fast this way, but he is getting there.

Most of the time he just gets mad that I won't pick him up, and he looks like this.

Paper Eater

What is this Mommy? It looks so exciting!

MMM! And delicious too!

See how much I can eat of it while you walk away for only a couple of minutes...

I know I got my daily portion of fiber today, did you?

What? Is something wrong?

The End.

Hiking Adventures!

The past 2 weekends we have spent our time outside exploring. Both of these canyons are only miles from our house.

July 24, 2010- Garden Canyon, Arizona

Nash is sitting all by himself on the edge of the cliff. Yes, it was completely safe.

Hieroglyphics:
Some date all the way back to 1200 A.D.

July 17, 2010- Ramsey Canyon, Arizona

The Wildlife:

There was a pretty rough hike to the top of this outlook. They said it was only 1/2 a mile but it sure felt longer than that! The view was great though.

What does this tree remind you of?

We call it the butt tree. Do you see it?

Nash just being cute

Nash sitting all by himself on the bed- mind you it is very soft and supportive- he can't do this on the floor yet :)

Sucking his thumb.
